288 Third Ave.

What it is: Right in the middle of Gowanus, Littleneck brings to you a New England clam shack attack catering to all of your shellfish cravings.

Why we love it: We love that we can walk in and feel transported to summertime in Maine regardless of the weather or un-fishable Gowanus Canal.

Who to bring: You know what they say about oysters ya? Bring a date. It’s also a great place to go out with a friend or two, but not really large enough for you and all your rowdy buddies.

What to order: Grab one of their six American craft beers to wash down the fried green tomatoes and lobster roll. Get there between 5 and 7pm during the week and grab a mess of their $1 oysters.

Fun Fact: Littleneck is bringing a little Littleneck to Greenpoint. Keep an eye out for this outpost!—Emily Berninger
