It’s Oktoberfest time, and that means drinks-autumnal and German-style meats are on tap around the city. Sycamore, the Ditmas Park flower shop/bar, and one of our favorite spots in Brooklyn, is celebrating in a big way this Saturday with day-long Bavarian beer, live music and one well-roasted pig.
We’re in on the fest too, and we’ve got a pair of free $25 tickets to give away that are just burning a hole in our otherwise-empty pockets. The pair (a $50 value!) will go to one lucky, randomly-selected reader who joins the Brokelyn.com email list by noon on Friday, Oct. 16.
The Sycamore fest will feature Spaten Oktoberfest flowing all afternoon (2 to 8), a pig roasted via The Farm on Adderley and the music of New Mexicoe. Each ticket will include a plate, a couple of sides and two Oktoberfest beers. So sign up for Brokelyn’s email list—you may well find yourself pleasantly buzzed and sated at one of our favorite places to spend a fall afternoon, and you’ll also get that cozy comfort of knowing you’ll never have to pay retail in Brooklyn again.
Sycamore, 1118 Cortelyou Rd., 347-240-5850. Tickets and more info here.
