Rock these shirts? We’ve got the party for you
Being a Republican in the liberal bastion of New York City must get frustrating some times. You’re outnumbered 6 to 1, and your own national party just knifed you in the ribs for basically no reason. Still, this is America, where everyone’s entitled to their political beliefs. More importantly, this is Brooklyn, where everyone’s entitled to a drink and a good time. Recognizing that, the Brooklyn Young Republican Club is having a party.
Proving that conservatives have just as much taste as liberals, the party is being held at DUMBO hotspot reBar, on Wednesday. They’re graciously buying the first round if become a new member or renew your membership, which is the kind of deal making sadly missing on Capitol Hill nowadays. They’re getting there at 6:30pm and will be there until 9. Though in a bit of easy, but impossible to not mention irony, they’ll be hanging on the left side of the bar.

That Mitt makeup is really outrageous — I would never see him as a Gene Simmons alpha male. A Peter Criss style wimpy cat or maybe an Eric Carr, a la The Fox. But no way could a milquetoast like Romney ever fill the great Demon’s platform boots.
