You could spend all day linking to weird ads on Craigslist, but here’s one that caught our eye this morning: someone is looking for a “very serious, very talented hacker” somewhere in the five boroughs: “I need a hacker to get inside a big, yet chaotic system to change a minor detail on a personal record. More information beyond what I’ve provided here will be discussed in person. I am very serious.” Is this ad from a) an inept FBI rookie or b) Bernie Madoff? We don’t know any hackers, but do they normally look for gigs on Craigslist? Aren’t the Eastern European cyber gangs still hiring? Maybe this ad is a sign that unemployment is even worse than we thought!
