Usually “Closed for private event” at our favorite places stokes our class war rage (unless we’re invited of course). So while it’s a bummer for any of half-mountain goats out there who wanted to get a climb in at Brooklyn Boulders (575 Degraw Street) that they’re closed for a private event tonight, the gym is making it up to you all with a nice treat: they’re parking a Zico truck out front at 5pm that will give away both free coconut water (which is kinda, eh) and free Brooklyn Boulders passes for use on a future day of climbing. So get out there and get your pass, and then keep telling people you’ll be going to the gym any day now.
