Calling all Brooklyn art lovers. Greenpoint Open Studios (GOS) returns on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday June 4 with more than 400 local artists, who will open up their studios to the public to showcase their finished works alongside works-in-progress. Visitors will have the rare opportunity to engage directly with artists in their own spaces.

The festivities will kick off with a launch party on Friday, June 2nd from 7:30-11:30PM at Java Studios (252 Java St.) with an outdoor reception, gallery show opening, musical performances and DJs, live body painting, performance art, installations, video screenings, and magazine launch.  Free craft beer will be provided by local brewery Greenpoint Beer & Ale. On Saturday, June 3  and Sunday, June 4, visitors will get an intimate look at over 400 artists and their work by glimpsing into their studio spaces. There will also be walking tours as well as special events hosted by local businesses, galleries, and community organizations throughout the neighborhood. In addition, The Other Art Fair by Saatchi Art is making it’s NYC debut in Greenpoint and Go Green! Brooklyn Festival will host a number of eco-artists for a huge art-filled weekend in North Brooklyn. RSVP to stay updated!

Wind down Sunday June 4 from 7:30PM – midnight with BBQ, beer, kombucha cocktails, watermelon soju, music, and light show in the enchanting Magick City (37 Box St.), a beautiful DIY performance and art space.
