‘Girls’ gets inevitable, slightly redundant porn parody

Despite the fact that it doesn’t get great numbers in traditional TV metrics like ratings, Girls still cleans up in categories like “buzzworthiness,” think pieces, awards and themed Craigslist apartment ads. Which means that in addition to the normal cash-ins like bus tours and bad parodies, the show is now joining the likes of Seinfeld and The Office with that touchstone of cultural acceptance, the porn parody.

According to Xbiz.com, This Ain’t Girls XXX just wrapped up production and should hit the market in a few months. Just in time to coincide with the release of Season 2 of the actual show on DVD and possibly be bundled together in New York’s remaining porn/DVD shops.

The plot of This Ain’t Girls, according to Xbiz involves Hannah becoming fed up with men and deciding to experiment with lesbianism for a little while. So light on brunch, but still plenty of eating, got it. She eventually goes back to Adam and their reconciliation is just like the one everyone hated at the end of Season 2. Oh no wait, actually, they break out a candy ballgag, which is devastating news to Lena Dunham, who was planning on writing that into Season 4.
