Free summer events, now in calendar form!

Just in time for the end of school, the opening of the pools and the start of the best (well, only … but still best) holiday weekend of the summer, we’ve updated our super expansive and sun-stoked list of free summer events to contain an actual calendar! #Frackyeahwidgets. Instead of stewing in your hot apartment, summoning up the energy to change from season 1 to season 2 of The Larry Sanders show on Netflix, quickly pull up a date and see all the great fun free stuff you should be taking advantage of. Did you know that today you have a choice of paying nothing to see either Justin Townes Earle at Prospect Park or Cults, Health and No Age at the House of Vans? It’s true!

Know of something we should list? E-mail free [at] Brokelyn [dot] com! And thanks to our summer intern Stacie Tenenbaum for maintaining the calendar!

I posted earlier but it didn’t show up — the Eugene comedy show listed as July 11th is not on that date – it’s July 29th I think.

Also, Bierkraft is spelled wrong every time.
