Free locally made jams return to Brooklyn Bowl

by | 2.20.12 | 0 Comments

Or is it Brook-Lin Bowl? Well, whatever: the Williamsburg bowling alley and venue is bringing its free Local X Local series back for the new year, starting this Wednesday with a performance by local chillwave bros Small Black, along with jewelry by Brooklyn Charm and other Brooklyn vendors. The venue will also offer a special breakfast-for-dinner menu with Challah French Toast using Blue Ribbon Bakery bread, served with Vermont maple syrup. Phonetag and Fabric will also perform. The bar is also offering the new Brooklyn Brewery Radius beer (aka only distributed in a specific radius of the Brewery) for $4!  In the meantime, enjoy that Small Black video above and let it get you psyched up for those happy summer days ahead. And by “summer days ahead,” we mean this Wednesday, when it’s supposed to be 60 degrees.

Then on March 14, fellow chillwavers Lemonade will take the stage. All Local X Local shows are free and highlight Brooklyn or NYC made music, crafts and food.

Brooklyn Bowl, 61 Wythe Ave., Williamsburg. Doors at 6, show at 8pm.
