In the latest edition of why biking is better than other forms of transit, your pedal-philia now gets you free coffee! Dumbo-based Brooklyn Roasting Company and Transportation Alternatives are giving bikers free iced coffee for the rest of the summer and into the fall. The giveaway is happening every Wednesday and Friday, but the locations rotate (the most recent ones were in Long Island City in Queens and Allen Street in the city) so check the Facebook page to find out where the “bicycle ambassadors” will be.
