Finally, someone to share your dog food with

stray-dog

How could you not take a face like that home with you? Show up tomorrow at the Pet Adoption Festival in Prospect Park, and you could have this guy at “Purina.” Whether you’re looking for a furry companion for your kid, a doppleganger of your childhood best friend or you need something to cuddle after your unemployment runs out, this festival has a selection of cats and dogs just salivating for a new home (well, at least the dogs, anyway)

The festival will feature dog and cat adoption from Sean Casey Animal Rescue and Animal Care & Control of NYC. You also can get $25 microchipping for your pet to insure the return of a runaway animal. Tavi and Friends will give a demonstration on pet care, including care for pets with special needs. You can even get your picture taken with a six-foot “miniature” schnauzer.

The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bartel Pritchard Circle, Prospect Park West and 15th Street (F train).
