Extremely cute apartment roundup: Windsor Terrace edition

by | 6.13.12 | 0 Comments

Windsor Terrace (that neighborhood to the left of the South Slope as you’re on Prospect Park West facing the Verrazano) has two main things going for it: Prospect Park and cuteness. What it doesn’t have is groceries, since the nabe’s only supermarket is becoming a Walgreens. So maybe ask your landlord for a rent break, then take the new shuttle to Fairway? First up in our Extremely Cute Windsor Terrace apartment roundup edition: a $2,100 2BR with built-ins galore, high ceilings, and an eat-in kitchen with windows and a bathroom skylight. Plus some snazzy filigree detail: (That’s filigree, right, Brownstoner?)

• How about a $1,700 floor-through 1BR with brand new washer/dryer, wood floors, dishwasher, central air and a shared backyard? It’s just a 5 minute walk to Prospect Park, where you can forage for dinner if there’s nothing in the backyard to eat.

• This $1,950 place sounds more studio-ish than 1 bedroom-ish, as the bedroom is described as “office space that could be large enough to fit a bed.” Or, maybe put it n the “huge kitchen” that overlooks the quaint garden deck. (Breakfast in bed every day!) Oh wait, there’s no breakfast anymore in Windsor Terrace, so maybe this is actually more like a 3BR.

• Here’s a 2.5 BR for $2,195 with, presumably, home-office space. (You know that $20 a day you spend at the local coffee shop adds up.) Also features closet space, high ceilings, lots of windows, an eat-in kitchen and pets upon approval.
