Every Thursday means a free concert Under the Archway in DUMBO

With summer in full swing the inevitable inverse proportion of fun and funds has begun! Although nothing beats summertime in New York, the season is accompanied by a lightheartedness that can result in being unable to renew your lease come the fall. Instead of falling on hard times in September, rein it in and take advantage of the tons of awesome free activities available. Hey music lovers, listen up because I’m talking to you: there’s a free concert in DUMBO under the Manhattan Bridge every Thursday night.

Presented by Live at the Archway- this curated series from the DUMBO Improvement District and The Lighthouse features a wide variety of local talent playing in the . Rain or shine the show will go on and there’s food and booze (sadly not complimentary, but still) on hand to accompany the tunes. Unless you hate fun, there’s really no reason not to check this out.

The lineup of concerts, that start at either 5pm or 6pm every Thursday, is as follows:

So hop on the F or the A/C, or if you’re feeling really adventurous the M103 and head to DUMBO for some spectacular tunes and city views. Because what’s better than a free party in a neighborhood you’ll never be able to afford to live in, right? Plus, your savings account will thank you.
