Yoga Tune Up® De-stress and Distract: a Study in Making it Through the Holidays

It’s hard to believe that the holidays are just around the corner! Welcome lovely smells, beautiful presents, good cheer, and five-hour long dinners with Aunt Carmen and her whiskey sours. As we all know, seeing family can be both joyful and stressful – what better way to ready yourself than through the breath and movement of yoga!
In this 2-hour workshop we’ll use Yoga Tune Up® techniques as well as traditional yoga practices to relieve tension from the body and ease the mind. Using rubber therapy balls we’ll target for massage, hard-to-access tissues that hold onto tension and microtrauma. We’ll explore various breathing and meditation practices that can be used as tools to combat escalating stress levels. You’ll leave feeling refreshed and restored and ready to argue the pros and cons of a Trump presidency with Grandpa Jack!
