Come to the new Burlington at Gateway Center II on Tuesday, November 25 from 2-3 p.m. for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet world class boxer and Brooklyn native Peter Quillin.

Quillin will be signing autographs and meeting fans in exchange for the donation of a new or gently used winter coat. The donations will benefit the non-profit and Brooklyn based organization, What About the Children (WATC).This local charity is dedicated to encouraging youth to stay in school, deters teen gang involvement by providing educational and job training opportunities.

A former WBO Middleweight Champion who holds an impressive 31-0 record, Quillin is giving back to his community as part of the Burlington’s Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Coat Drive in partnership with ABC’s Good Morning America and the national non-profit K.I.D.S/Fashion Delivers.

Keeping those in need warm is personal to Quillin, as he experienced the struggles associated with being homeless and knows first-hand what it’s like to be cold. While training to become a professional boxer, he lived in a New York City homeless shelter and is now fortunate enough to be able to give back this holiday season, offering warmth to families less fortunate within his childhood community.
