Medicine Making and Healing with Local Plants
Develop a new perspective and relationship to living in the city by learning about the edible and medicinal plants that surround us. Through becoming re-acquainted with local, healing plants we enhance awareness of and reconnection to the land. We’ll share some herbal infusions (medicinal teas) and learn how to ethically harvest and make herbal tinctures and herbal infusions to nurture mind, body and spirit. The class will work with specific plants in season so we can get to know the plants and make medicine together.
