Michelle Joni, who was in the original Wet Hot American Summer Talent Show, a “Friends Girl” is the self-proclaimed Tall Debbie. She was backstage with MOOSE and the other talent show folks, and witnessed that even practice doesn’t make perfect. She was the only camper from Camp Towanda to be casted – besides the camp director’s son Roger the Master Broom Balancer! – which made her very cool at camp and elsewhere, and it also meant her little sister Jessica got to be in it too.
Jessica Lapidos known on the Brooklyn scene as Tilly de Wolfe, sat in that Talent Show audience for 7 hours at least, in a Camp Firewood shirt, wind gusts and all, and will be our token audience member, with re-enactments to share.
Talent show hosted by none other than Alan Shemper, straight from Kutscher’s Country Club. (as played by the famous Zach Garner)
