The SLYI (Slideluck Youth Initiative) is an after-school photography program with 6 programs across the United States, teaching young students creativity, storytelling, and photography with the goal of opening new possibilities to them.

Students were asked to define their community and create a perspective on it. Using cameras as tools, SLYI students captured youthful viewpoints on the diverse parts of the world they reside in. Each student comes from a different background, each with a different outlook, each with a different voice, and the goal of the Slideluck Youth Initiative is to celebrate that.

After running classes across the country, The SLYI invites you to see the unique communities and viewpoints of our students
