TWIN PEAKS BINGO: David Lynch Directs + Northwest Passage Sneak Peak

May 13, 2015 @ 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Back in 1990, Rolling Stone called it “like nothing else on television.” 25 years later, little has changed. TWIN PEAKS irrevocably shattered the concept of prime time television – its serialized format, its central mystery, its weirdness. Naturally, ABC had it pulled from their schedule within a year.

Last fall, Showtime announced the show would return for a limited run in 2016 with David Lynch at the helm (his first major directing job since 2006). Unfortunately, talks between Lynch and Showtime ultimately fell apart and the show will likely carry on without him.

We want to show our support for the #SaveTwinPeaks movement by bringing back Twin Peaks Bingo, exclusively showing episodes directed by the great David Lynch.

*we’ll have donuts, coffee and Agent Cooper cocktails!

Brooklyn filmmaker Adam Baran is joining Videology for Twin Peaks Bingo for the next 3 weeks to preview the trailer for his new Twin Peaks-related documentary NORTHWEST PASSAGE, executive produced by P. David Ebersole & Todd Hughes (ROOM 237, HIT SO HARD) and Jonathan Caouette (dir. TARNATION). Adam’s film chronicles the experiences of Travis Blue, a Twin Peaks superfan who grew up in Washington state during the 80′s and 90′s and observed David Lynch filming Twin Peaks in his hometown. He developed an obsession with the series that took him on a wild and dangerous ride into adulthood.

Adam will be offering rewards from his upcoming Kickstarter campaign, which launches May 4th, as bingo prizes during Twin Peaks Bingo – including Twin Peaks tote bags, buttons, Northwest Passage posters, and digital download copies of an original mix by Twin Peaks-loving band A Place Both Wonderful and Strange made exclusively for the campaign. Like Northwest Passage On Facebook.
