Too Hot…Too Cold… Just Right: Regulating your Body Temperature Through Yoga

Overheated all the time? Cold in the hands and feet? When the seasons change it can be difficult to feel comfortable. In this workshop series you’ll learn practices to improve circulation, and alternately heat and cool the body. Over the course of three sessions you’ll learn more about Yoga’s view of the circulatory system and anatomy and how to use some of its more esoteric practices to regulate the body’s temperature (hint: It’s not really about Asana). By the end of the series you’ll have achieved such mastery over your body temperature that on January 1st you’ll come with us to Coney Island and jump in the ocean (and if you do you’ll get a free class to boot). Suitable for all levels.
