….How to create, disrupt and do the impossible

A talk by Dr. David Putrino, Ph.D., P.T.
Director, Telemedicine and Virtual Rehabilitation, Burke Medical Research Institute
Assistant Professor, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Weill Cornell Medical College

Almost every field you can name has become aware of a critical need for “innovation”. But as surely as any CEO can tell you that they desperately need innovation, they will just as surely not be able to easily explain what innovation is, or how it works. In this presentation, we will explore this elusive concept through the lens of science. We will learn about the process of innovation: some processes that create an exciting, game-changing idea. We will discuss some specific examples of innovation, and we will examine the features of each idea that made them special. By the end of this talk, you should have all the necessary skills to change the world!
