Join author Doug Most as he sheds light on the development of the first subways in the late 19th century and discusses his recent book, The Race Underground. A great American story of two rival American cities, their rich, powerful and sometimes corrupt interests, and an invention that changed the lives of millions – all set against the backdrop of the Museum’s own 1936 subway station.
