THE SWEETHEARTZ OF THE PSYCHIC RODEO
Whether you know Brady Oh from his singing on the evil villain Garmadon’s theme in the newly released “LEGO Ninjago Movie,” as the high-energy vocalist and keyboard player in The Brady Oh Show (bradyohshow.com) and Hunters & Runners (huntersandrunners.bandcamp.com) or his bandmate Jesse Lent as the frontman of The Monte Vista (themontevista.bandcamp.com), bassist-producer of CSC Funk Band, whose “Above The Starrs,” an all-instrumental tribute to legendary rap duo Gang Starr was a sold out exclusive this past Record Day (fleamarketfunk.com/2017/03/30/csc-funk-band-above-the-starrs) or host of the WBAI political talk show “TrumpWatch with Jesse Lent,” nothing either of them has done is quite like this. Equal parts Graham Parsons, Dylan and The Band and John Cale, The Sweetheartz of the Psychic Rodeo harken back to a time when the song was king.

You may know the voice of the great Tony Bates without realizing it. The program director of 99.5FM WBAI New York, Tony has been a contant on-air presence on the station for years. Yet, despite his renowned radio career on both coasts, he believes he was “put on earth to play music.” One listen to his powerful baritone vocals and you would be hard-pressed to disagree with him.
Originally hailing from Dallas, TX, Veronica Garza (thepit-nyc.com/artists/veronica-garza) began performing comedy three years ago. Since moving to NYC, she has taken the stage numerous times at Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, QED, Eastville Comedy Club, and many other alternative spots around NYC. Her acerbic wit and energetic stage presence make Veronica a unique force in the local scene. Her comedy is fresh, upbeat, unexpected and helps you take life, or yourself, not so seriously.
