The event will again feature talks with business and cultural innovators, conversations with icons and iconoclasts; workshops and demos, all covering entrepreneurship, culture, creativity, design, branding, community-building and more. A unique marketplace, the Other Shops will showcase hand-picked female founders, artists and makers, who will sell their work. The day ends with Other Music, an evening of performances by female led bands and DJs. Poku states, “Last year’s success set the stage for our second celebration of entrepreneurship and creativity and I’m thrilled to be at CityPoint Brooklyn.
