The Good Fork 10th Anniversary Dinner and Cookbook Preview

Like fine wine or a beautifully fermented kimchi, Chef Sohui Kim’s The Good Fork is only getting better with age. Long before the borough was known for setting food trends, Chef Kim and her husband, carpenter Ben Schneider literally built the restaurant from the ground up, offering Brooklynites a uniquely eclectic experience and a globe-trotting menu that carefully straddles fine-dining and comfort food. Chef Kim’s distinctive style combines her Korean roots with American flavors in a very personal way, highlighting the best of the past with an eye towards the future.
We’ll be celebrating the Red Hook staple’s 10th anniversary on Thursday, June 16 with a special six-course menu, featuring best-loved Good Fork favorites as well as a tasting of dishes from Chef Kim’s upcoming cookbook, titled The Good Fork Cookbook, coming out this fall.
