| Free with Museum admission

January 22, 2016

4:30–8:00 p.m.

Cantor Auditorium (3rd Floor) and Rubin Pavilion (1st Floor)

Inspired by the exhibition Agitprop!, this Teen Movie Night features the film Selma (Ava DuVernay, 2014, 128 min., PG-13), a chronicle of Martin Luther King Jr’s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965. Screening begins promptly at 4:45 p.m.

Planned by teens, for teens. Watch fun, thought-provoking, engaging, humorous, creative, and inspiring films with your friends at our free Teen Movie Nights. Our teen curators show a film inspired by a work of art, a special exhibition, or a collection, feature a gallery activity, present a talkback, and provide snacks. For teens 13 and over.
