TALE Storytelling is coming to the CAKE SHOP NYC as part of NY LitCrawl

NY Crawl is a great yearly event – which is storytelling shows meets bar crawl. Their will be a plethora of storytelling shows happening that night – and TALE will be part of it.

No hokey gimmicks. No dumb themes – just the best in NYC’s pro-storytelling!

For NY Lit Crawl – we are bringing you the Best of TALE! The show will fill up – so please come EARLY!

Bios

Frank Conniff is a comedy writer and performer who began his TV career writing for the Peabody Award winning Comedy Central series Mystery Science Theater 3000, where he also played TV’s Frank, the bumbling yet lovable mad scientist sidekick. He then went on to be a writer, producer and actor on the ABC TV series Sabrina the Teenage Witch and he was a writer and producer on The Drew Carey Show on ABC, The New Tom Green Show on MTV, and the satirical series O2BE on the Oxygen Network.

Michele Carlo is a writer/storyteller who has appeared across the U.S., including the MOTH’s GrandSlams and Mainstage in NYC, on NPR with Latino USA and is featured in the 2015 Emmy award-winning PBS documentary “Latino Americans of NY & NJ.” She is also the author of Fish Out Of Agua: My life on neither side of the (subway) tracks (Citadel 2010), a NYC-based memoir. Harmon Leon is the author of six books. His stories have appeared in VICE, Esquire, The Nation, National Geographic, Salon, Huffington Post, NPR’s, This American Life, Details, Maxim, Cracked, SF Chronicle, Playboy, Cosmopolitan, and Wired.

Harmon has performed comedy around the world, including the Edinburgh, Melbourne, Dublin, Vancouver, and Montreal Comedy Festivals. He’s appeared on This American Life, The Howard Stern Show, Last Call With Carson Daly, Penn & Teller’s Bullshit, Spike TV, VH1, FX, as well as the BBC. Harmon also costarred with the infamous OJ Simpson on a hidden camera reality show called Juiced!

Sean O’Brien is a comic/storyteller from Lavallette, New Jersey. He runs 2 shows, KIDIOT (a show for Kids & Idiots) and SUNDAY BEST, a storytelling open mic at The Experiment Comedy Theater. Sean was the recent winner of the 2016 Moth GrandSLAM and can be seen in various comedy venues throughout New York City.
