Stamp + Stencil Workshop (Free!)

May 3, 2014 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Mum’s the word! This session we’ll be breaking out stencils and stamps with a special guest from the neighborhood: Ed Roth, stencil genius, designer, author, and founder of Stencil1. He’ll be sharing stamps and stencils from his brand new line that feature his signature designs and pattern motifs. He’ll lead a workshop on using them to make fun notecards – perfect for your favorite mom for Mother’s Day or another card-giving occasion.

We’ll provide all the supplies you need to make this free DIY project. Feel free to bring a snack to share or additional materials to stamp and stencil (such as a notebook or other paper goods).

About Greenpoint Hand Skills:
Our workshops are typically held the first Saturday of the month from 12-2 p.m. Each meeting is free, casual, and open to all skill levels. Expect to learn something new, meet your neighbors, and enjoy a creative afternoon. Come empty handed and leave with a little something handmade, some DIY knowledge, and maybe even check out a library book to read.

You don’t need to be a card carrying library member to attend these events, but we love the library and encourage you to join too. Remember to bring an ID with your current address or a piece of mail for proof of residence if you want to get a library card.
