Ophira Eisenberg (NPR’s Ask Me Another)
and Emily Flake (New Yorker) present:

Comedy from Humans Rearing other Humans
~ because if you don’t laugh, you’ll die screaming ~

After a sold-out first show, Ophira Eisenberg (NPR’s Ask Me Another) and Emily Flake (New Yorker) return with the next installment of SH!T SHOW on Thursday, September 8th, at Union Hall.

Hosted by Ophira Eisenberg (NPR’s Ask Me Another), Emily Flake (New Yorker), SH!T SHOW features Kate Tellers (The Moth Radio Hour), Nick Stevens (host of CBS Sports Network’s Tailgate Fan), Adira Amram (Funny Or Die), Robin Hazel (making her NYC debut!), and Caroline Rhea (Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, The Caroline Rhea Show)
…plus maybe more, or maybe less if someone’s asshole kid gets sick…

Some comedians are unwise enough to breed – and on this night, they will mine the fallout of that decision on stage. None of the children of the performers are likely to be present, which is a good thing, because they’re probably gonna say really mean things about them.

Ophira Eisenberg is a comedian, writer, and host of NPR’s trivia comedy show, Ask Me Another where she has interviewed and played silly games with Sir Patrick Stewart, Ethan Hawke, Uzo Aduba, Natasha Lyonne, Lewis Black, Aimee Mann and more. She has appeared on The Nightly Show, The Late Late Show, The Today Show, Comedy Central, and VH-1. Selected as one of New York Magazine’s Top 10 Comics that Funny People Find Funny, and featured in The New York Times as a skilled comedian and storyteller with a “bleakly stylish” sense of humor, Ophira’s debut memoir, Screw Everyone: Sleeping My Way to Monogamy was optioned for a feature film with Zucker Productions. She is a regular host and teller with The Moth, and was recently on the season finale of HBO’s hit original series Girls, as herself.

Emily Flake is a New Yorker cartoonist, a writer, an illustrator, and the author of a book called Mama Tried, which is cartoons and essays about parenting. It features a lot of cuss words.
