Regina Opera presents “Carmen” with Orchestra

Regina Opera Company will present Bizet’s “Carmen” on Saturdays May 16 and 23; and Sundays May 17 and 24 at 3:00PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help auditorium, 5902 6th Avenue, Brooklyn. The fully-staged performances of this tragedy in which a sultry gypsy drives a young soldier to extremes of passion, is sung in French with English super-titles. Among the cast are Lara Tillotson (pictured) who sings the role of Carmen. Admission: $25 – general admission; $20 – seniors/college students under 25; teens – $5. Children – Free. Tickets are available at the door and on line.
