Presentation Fight Night @ The Brooklyn Brewery
Feb 5, 2015 @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm| $10
Join Presentation Party Night and VERBAL FIGHT CLUB for a special event, February 5th at The Brooklyn Brewery. We’re pairing our peer-lecture format with a debate-style smackdown to shake you out of those winter doldrums.
This month’s great debate is a culinary dilemma as we navigate the choice to eat meat, or not. How ethical is a fish fillet? How good is the best steak? Does anyone actually stay vegetarian? Join the food fight as we discuss the instincts, ethics and history of the human diet. Our guest speakers will lay the foundation for a night of group debate and drunken discourse.
$5 Advance Tickets available at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1181968
$10 @ the Door
Doors open at 7:30pm
Lectures and debates start promptly at 8:00pm
The Brewery will be selling delicious beers on tap for $5 tokens (one token gets you one beer!) or $20 for 5 tokens. There will be secret prizes (hint: free beer), and we encourage everyone to come ready to participate in the debates.
