Plates For Change: Neighbors Together Fall Chef Showcase
Oct 30, 2013 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm| $100
Momofuku’s David Chang, Buttermilk Channel’s Ryan Angulo, Iron Chef contenstant Jehangir Mehta and more than 10 other celebrated New York culinary artists will come together to create an exclusive evening of fresh fall tastings including appetizers, meals, dessert and an open wine and beer bar.
From locally smoked to subtly-spiced to seductively sweet, the evening offers a special night out for casual gourmands as well as hardcore foodies. Guests will have the opportunity to meet internationally renowned New York chefs and expand their palates with newly-created dishes in an intimate setting at Brooklyn’s Green Building, located at 425 Union Street in Carroll Gardens. The event celebrates 30 years of service by Neighbors Together, a Brooklyn nonprofit that provides emergency food assistance to some of New York’s neediest neighborhoods.
PLATES FOR CHANGE: NEIGHBORS TOGETHER FALL CHEF SHOWCASE ticket prices start at $100 and proceeds benefit the work of Neighbors Together. For a complete roster of chefs and more information about the event, please visit www.neighborstogether.org/PlatesForChange.html
