A strong picture is said to be worth a thousand words. A great
documentary project exploring a social, cultural, political or personal issue has the power of telling a story in a unique, convincing and visually compelling way.

In this event Natan will present his award winning documentary projects from Israel, New York, and other locations. Natan will present his inspiring images and will discuss his ideas, working process, and various aspects of being a modern documentary image-maker.

About Natan:
Natan Dvir is a photographer who focuses on the human aspects of political, social and cultural issues. He received his MBA from Tel Aviv University and his MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts (NY), after which he became a faculty member at the International Center for Photography (ICP). Natan is based in New York City and photographs around the world represented by Polaris Images agency and Anastasia Photo gallery. His work has been published by numerous international magazines including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Le Monde,Der Spiegel, Stern, and L’Express among others. Natan’s main projects were exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions in the United States, Europe, South America and Israel. His work has received recognition winning prizes around the world including the Picture of the Year Award (POYi), Photo District News (PDN) Annual, and American Photography Award.
