Nightcall (Drive Film Screening, Art Exhibition, After Party)
Jan 1, 1970 @ 12:00 am| Free
As symbols of freedom, cars return again and again in art and film, even if that freedom is sometimes only achieved in a final, explosive crash. While the first half of the twentieth century was concerned with the celebration of speed and acceleration, now, our obsession is with the car crash.
Outdoor screening of Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive, featuring Ryan Gosling, at 9pm.
Come early to check out our one-night multimedia exhibition featuring works by James Adelman, Johnny Hay and Patrick Phillips, Jenn Hyland, Lisa Rosenberg, Eric Shorey, and Abby Walsh.
Stay for the blood-soaked after party with DJ accident report and the warm leatherettes.
Doors at 8pm, film at 9pm.
Pay what you can for entry and beer.
