Blurring the distinctions between kinetic-energy and more lyrical propulsion of music, sublime jazz pianist Diane Moser has brought together close collaborators and guest composers to explore new works for small ensemble. Featured is Moser’s Music For the Last Flower, inspired by James Thurber’s book written in 1939 as a protest to the invasion of Poland. www.dianemosermusic.com
