Krampus Holiday Fair at Cobra Club
Dec 17, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm| Free
Rock Paper Scissors Collective proudly presents the first annual Krampus Holiday Fair a whimsical celebration of devilish delights, to be held at The Cobra Club (6 Wyckoff Ave, Brooklyn) on Saturday, December 17 from 4-8 pm. The upcoming Krampus Holiday Fair is a pop-up market and fine alternative to the hyper cheerful elf and Santa set. The fair will proudly feature goods created by local artists and artisans who live and work throughout Queens and Brooklyn.
Set against the lush backdrop of Cobra Club’s red velvet curtains, the market will include Krampus-inspired ornaments, crowns, holiday cards, gifts, wearable art, treats and much more. Each artist incorporates different incarnations of the trickster creature, ranging from comical and cute to dark and demonic.
Sip Counter Culture coffee and specialty cocktails from the Cobra Club bar while you shop. Their famous DEVIL LOCK cocktail ($10), a potent mix of Jalapeno-infused tequila, fresh lime, fresh orange, agave and Tabasco, is the perfect beastly brew for the occasion. Stay for live music from Glowing-Eyed Friends, Powdermaker, and Terra & the Dactyls following the market at 9pm ($7 cover for the show).
Rock Paper Scissors Collective is a revolving group of artists, writers, crafters and designers based in and around Ridgewood, Queens. They are dedicated to promoting the work of local artists and artisans throughout the borough through group exhibitions, pop-up markets, festivals and meet-ups.
