MIRA JACOB is the author of The Sleepwalker’s Guide to Dancing, which was shortlisted for India’s Tata First Literature Award, and named one of the best books of 2014 by Kirkus Reviews, Goodreads, Bustle, and The Millions. Her writing has appeared in Guernica, Vogue, the Telegraph, and innumerable other places. She is co-founder of the beloved Pete’s Reading Series, which she curated for 13 years on the city’s sweetest stage. She was named Emerging Novelist Honoree at Hudson Valley Writer’s Center and received a commendation from the U.S. Congress.
DAVE HILL is a comedian, writer, musician—and host of WFMU’s The Goddamned Dave Hill Show—whose debut comedy album, Let Me Turn You On, is out now on A Special Thing records. His book, Tasteful Nudes …and Other Misguided Attempts at Personal Growth and Validation (St. Martin’s Press, 2012), was optioned for a series by Comedy Central. He’s written for the Times, GQ, McSweeney’s, The Believer, and Salon. He wrote Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’s theme song, performed by his band Valley Lodge, and he’s a frequent contributor to This American Life.
ABBI CRUTCHFIELD is a comedian and the host of People Now. She has been featured on MTV, VH1, CollegeHumor and in national commercials. She is a contributor to Someecards, and her jokes are listed among the “Best Tweets of the Year” by Huffington Post Comedy. She is a UCB alum and produces the popular stand-up hour The Living Room Show weekly in Brooklyn.
NATE CHARLES TROISI is an award-winning storyteller and solo performer originally based in Melbourne, Australia and now based in NYC. A playwright and a filmmaker, he was also part of the Australian sketch group Middle Brow, and released an album as 50% of Australian hip-hop group Arty Bucco. He has performed multiple times for the The Moth, and he’s currently working on his next solo show, Take Care, which will premiere in New Orleans, and then travel over the pacific back towards his Mother country.
GABE PACHECO is a Brooklyn based comedian and the host of the weekly show Funhouse at Passenger Bar. He likes hip-hop, horror movies, animals being animals, cults, and self-help gurus.
