Greenlight Cookbook Club tastes and discusses The Lee Bros. Charleston Cookbook

Greenlight’s new Cookbook Club, led by neighbor and educated foodie Grant Bremer, meets on the second Tuesday of every third month to share dishes and discussion of featured cookbooks, with a focus on locally available ingredients and accessible yet adventurous recipes. For April, the group will taste and discuss The Lee Bros. Charleston Cookbook by Southern food aficionados Matt and Ted Lee. The brothers offer classic and contemporary recipes characteristic of their beloved hometown, including She-Crab Soup, Hoppin’ John, Groundnut Cakes, and many more gleaned from home cooks, chefs, farmers, fishermen, caterers, and funeral directors who make Charleston one of the most vibrant culinary cities of the South.
