Game Night: BKCF Edition

Aug 18, 2014 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

| Free
Kyle Ayers and Will Winner are your hosts at Game Night, a Comedy Show. The show has been written up in Time Out New York, The New York Times, Village Voice, and more, for being an absolute fucking blast. The show kicked off the inaugural Brooklyn Comedy Festival in 2013. Kyle is a stand up comedian who has performed in the Laughing Devil and Brooklyn Comedy Festivals, and has written for CBS, Comedy Central, and been a feature on Funny or Die, BBC, the Huffington Post, and more. Will Winner’s energy as a host won his weekly open mic ‘Best Open Mic’ from the Village Voice in 2013, and he performs regularly around New York City in addition to DJing under his alias ‘DJ Puppy-fleece”
Jason Burke is a New York comedian who can be seen performing all over the city and on national commercials. Jason played three months of college basketball and ingloriously quit, finding time to focus on comedy well after barely graduating. His energetic and captivating style pulls the audience into his world, as they go on a journey into his psyche on a search for his absentee, moped-driving cokehead father. Jason still finds time to play basketball between captivating the hearts of strangers with his good looks and writing excellent bios.
In 2010, Josh traveled to Atlanta for the inaugural Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, where he turned heads and captured first prize! Since then he has become an in-demand performer on a national scale. He has performed at the Rooftop Comedy Festival in Aspen, CO, and headlined at the Laugh Your Asheville Off Festival in Asheville, NC. More recently he has appeared in the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival and SF Sketchfest.

Josh’s grandmother was especially thrilled to see him on television on G4?s “Attack of the Show” and MavTV’s “Rooftop on the Road.” His first CD, “Everything’s The Best” was released in November of 2011 by Rooftop Comedy Productions.

Hello all. I’m Dan Friesen, a stand-up comedian, podcaster, and writer working out of Chicago. I’m a regular at the Laugh Factory, my now defunct live show The Comedy Evening was named TimeOut Chicago’s Favorite Show of 2012 (and was described as a “near perfectly produced night of stand up comedy.”), I was included in the Best of the Fest Show at Memphis Comedy Festival 2014 and I currently produce a monthly stand-up/improv hybrid show called Listin Up at the Upstairs Gallery.

All that being said, I am mess. The other day, for lunch, I had a salad from Quiznos and a sandwich from Subway. I have no idea what I was doing.

In 2010, Adam was named one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch. In 2011, Adam’s critically acclaimed debut stand-up CD, Not for Horses, was released by Rooftop Comedy. In 2012, Adam will make his TV stand-up debut on John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show on Comedy Central. Adam has performed at the New York Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Chicago, Atlanta’s Laughing Skull Festival, Austin’s Out of Bounds Festival, North Carolina’s Laugh Your Asheville Off Festival, the New Orleans Comedy Arts Festival, and has been a finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award and the Boston Comedy Festival. Adam’s TV appearances include MTV’s The CollegeHumor Show and F’nMTV, TV Guide Channel’s 100 Shows to Watch Before You Die, the Tyra Banks Show (weird), and dozens of CollegeHumor Originals on CollegeHumor.com, including their popular series Very Mary Kate, Hardly Working, and High Times Editorial Office. Adam has been featured in Time Out NY and the New York Daily News, wrote for Run it Back on Cartoon Network, and recently starred in an Animal Planet pilot called Cute Hunters. Adam lives in a very small apartment in Brooklyn, NY.
If Tenacious D and Dolly Parton got drunk and had a baby it would be the musical comedy duo Reformed Whores! Southern bred, NYC based, Marie Cecile Anderson and Katy Frame have been lassoing hearts across the country with their sweet harmonies, raunchy wit and old-fashioned charm. Their debut album Ladies Don’t Spit includes tracks like Drunk Dial, Birth Control, and Girls Poop Too. For the past year the Whores have been on tour opening for Primus frontman Les Claypool and his Duo de Twang at notable venues such as the Troubadour in LA, Gramercy Theatre in NYC, Georgia Theatre in Athens, and the Neptune Theatre in Seattle. Since they straddle both music venues and comedy clubs, the girls have also performed at Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville, The Improv in Atlanta, Punch Line in SF, and Carolines on Broadway. You might have seen them on CBS’s The Doctors or hosting an episode of the Yahoo! web show Mansome, you just never know where the Whores will turn up next!
