Game Night, a Comedy Show – President’s Day Edition
Feb 17, 2014 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm| Free
HOSTED BY KYLE AYERS & WILL WINNER
Kyle Ayers is the young, loveable comedian that brought you “Kanye West’s Publicist” on Funny Or Die – and now “GAME NIGHT – a Comedy Show” the first Monday of every month!
Mike Lawrence is a comedian born and raised in South Florida. He began doing comedy as a way to escape the dullness of his job at the McDonald’s Drive-Thru and quickly fell in love with it. He moved to New York in 2007, where he could write about all of his miserable life experiences from a safe distance. He has since performed at the New York Comic Con — a dream come true. He performed at the “New Faces” showcase at the 2010 Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He was also nominated for Best Male Comedian at the 2010 ECNY Awards and featured in Time Out New York. He made his television debut on “John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show” on Comedy Central on April 14, 2011.
In 2010, Josh traveled to Atlanta for the inaugural Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, where he turned heads and captured first prize! Since then he has become an in-demand performer on a national scale. He has performed at the Rooftop Comedy Festival in Aspen, CO, and headlined at the Laugh Your Asheville Off Festival in Asheville, NC. More recently he has appeared in the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival and SF Sketchfest.
Josh’s grandmother was especially thrilled to see him on television on G4?s “Attack of the Show” and MavTV’s “Rooftop on the Road.” His first CD, “Everything’s The Best” was released in November of 2011 by Rooftop Comedy Productions.
Matty Ryan is a Chicago classic. Born, bred, and beer-battered in an Irish neighborhood on the city’s South Side, Matty has been touring and performing throughout Chicago and beyond for the past several years. His rapid-fire delivery and deft takes on his burgeoning (and unwanted) adulthood, things he’s learned from the elderly, and the fine art of the outdoor nap have made him a favorite at showcases and clubs throughout the country. An alumnus of the Second City, Matty has appeared at Zanies, The Laugh Factory, The Improv, and the Hollywood Comedy Store. He currently co-produces The Blackout Diaries every Saturday at The Lincoln Lodge, and Parlour Car every Thursday at Bar Deville; both in Chicago. Also, please tell your parents he says hello.
