Free Concert at Brooklyn Historical Society
Oct 1, 2015 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm| Free
Enjoy a fall evening of art, music, and ice cream when Grammy Award-winning St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble stops at the Brooklyn Historical Society as part of its Subway Series tour of the five boroughs. Hear an octet of St. Luke’s virtuoso musicians play music for winds and strings by Beethoven, Strauss, and Nielsen, in a free, one-hour concert.
Grab a bite to eat in the neighborhood and treat yourself to a gourmet ice cream sandwich for dessert! Melt Bakery will sell their unique and delicious ice cream inventions before and after the performance.
Make a difference in your community and bring colored pencils, glue sticks, or watercolor sets to donate to Subway Series partner Cool Culture, which provides arts access to under-served families with preschool children.
Seating is first-come, first-served.
