FREE-ADMISSION OPERA – “The Merry Widow”

On Tuesday, November 17, 2015 – 7:30 P.M. Regina Opera will present Free-Admission Opera – “The Merry Widow” at Our Lady of Perpetual Help school auditorium, 5902 6th Ave., Brooklyn. This will be a fully-staged performance of this sparkling operetta, presented in English with piano accompaniment. In this operetta, we meet the officials of a tiny Grand Duchy who scheme to keep a rich widow’s money in their country by finding her the right husband. The cast includes Elana Gleason (Pictured) as the Widow Hanna Glavari; Nathan Matticks as Count Danilo, her former lover; Jessica Sandidge who sings the role of Valencienne, a married woman; and Lindell O. Carter as Camille de Rosillon, who is smitten with Valencienne.
