FREE-ADMISSION OPERA – “MANON LESCAUT”

On Tuesday, May 10, 2016 – 7:30 P.M., Regina Opera will present a Free “sneak peek” performance of the opera “Manon Lescaut” at Our Lady of Perpetual Help school auditorium, 5902 6th Ave., Brooklyn. This will be a fully-staged performance of this tuneful tragedy which tells of a beautiful but materialistic young woman can’t decide whether she prefers jewels or true love. The opera is presented in Italian with English supertitles and piano accompaniment. The Conductor is Gregory Ortega, and Stage Director is Linda Lehr.
Featured performers and their roles are: Manon: Kelly Griffin (pictured); Des Grieux: Lindell Carter; Lescaut: Charles Gray; Geronte: Isaac Grier; Edmondo: David Bailey; Madrigal Singer: Melissa Serluco.
