At 17, the unstoppable Claressa "T-Rex" Shields of Flint, Michigan, fought to become the first woman from the United States to win a boxing gold medal at the Olympics. The screening of T-Rex (Zackary Canepari and Drea Cooper, 2015, 91 min.) is followed by a conversation with Claressa’s coach, Jason Crutchfield, and Brooklyn-based pro boxer Heather Hardy. Co-presented in partnership with Independent Lens and THIRTEEN, with the Women's Sports Foundation.
