Feeling Gloomy Celebrates St. (Stephen) Patrick (Morrissey)’s Day.
Mar 15, 2014 @ 11:00 pm - Mar 16, 2014 @ 4:00 am| $6
We’re excited about March’s Feeling Gloomy for two reasons:
1) As St. Patrick’s Day falls a mere 30 hours after the end of Feeling Gloomy, we thought we should commemorate in the only way we know how, by celebrating our favorite singer of Irish blood (yet English heart), Stephen Patrick Morrissey.
2) In a coup for Americans everywhere, we’ve convinced Cliff Gloom, one of the two founders of Feeling Gloomy in London, to come round and play us some tunes! He’ll join Feeling Gloomy NYC residents Gordon and Nathaniel in playing the best Moz-centric songs, and a generous helping of music that Ireland was responsible for.
We’ll have 20 Morrissey masks on hand so you can wear Morrissey on the outside because Morrissey is how you feel on the inside. Be sure to wear something with Morrissey on it somewhere or else you’ll get pinched! Green is completely optional, black is more our color, but we’ll let gingers (“redheads”) in for half off, for looking especially Irish every day of the year. How can you pass this up, gingers? We have no idea.
