Exhibit Tour: African American Heritage & the Brooklyn Navy Yard

Join BLDG 92 and Inside Out Tours for an exhibition tour in celebration of Black Artstory Month. On this guided exhibit tour participants will learn about the past, present and future of the Brooklyn Navy Yard and the experiences and contributions of African American and minority groups at the Yard and in surrounding communities.

BLDG 92 is a proud partner of Black Artstory Month, which celebrates the enduring influences and contributions made by African Americans within the visual and performing arts worlds. And don’t miss a live performance by experimental music group, Hot Hands, inspired by the experiences of African American weorkers at the Yard during World War II. 2/21, 5:00 pm.
