Con artists, grifters, psychics, and Ponzi schemers: what do all these masters of deception have in common? And how are they able to convince us to fall for their schemes? Join us for the Empiricist League’s seventeenth gathering, featuring presentations and a panel discussion with special guest Maria Konnikova, author of the new book The Confidence Game: Why We Fall for It Every Time.

Doors at 7pm. First speaker starts at 7:30pm.
