Emblem Free Comedy Show — Symposium of Jolity

Aug 29, 2015 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
Every month until Dec 4, 2016

Every month the Emblem Free Comedy Show brings a showcase of some of the best stand up comedy in New York City to the Ange Noir Cafe in Brooklyn. Each show has a theme where the hosts will wear fun outfits and stuff because they’re such fun guys.

Dane Cook
Fozzy Bear

Prime examples proving comedians are the great philosophers of our time. Their poignant insights and clever bamboozles alone, open the pathway to the spirit realm, and the secrets to the universe that lie therein.

In honor of these heroes, beloved Brooklyn cohosts Alex Ptak and Andy Palmer have decided to throw a festival in the classic tradition of the architects of Western thought: The Ancient Greeks.

Fools tremble at the thought of such a show!

It will be a night of jesters of the highest caliber including:

Will Miles (Comedy at the Knitting Factory)
Lynn Bixenspan (Relationshit, Stand up and Sing)
Brian Allen Mitchell (Rooftop Comedy)
Alex Fleming (Stand and Deliver)
Maria Wojciechowski (Li’l Baby Show)
Petey DeAbreu (Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Inspired Word)

Will any of them have what it takes to slay the dreaded Minotaur? Will there be a Minotaur at all?

Come to this classy affair and find out.

This show will be as FREE as land owning men under the rule of noble Pericles (0 Dollars!)
