Eat Greene 2017 – Street Festival

Join The Greene Grape and partners Interboro Spirits & Ales and FAB Fulton as we celebrate both our local community and our producer community at our first ever block party. This will be a day of food education, neighborhood collaboration, and of course great feasting and libations!

We’re excited to welcome our party co-host, local craft beer experts Interboro Spirits & Ales. Interboro is Brooklyn’s only combination craft brewery and distillery, and they’ve been busy making buzz-worthy brews. A variety of their beers have graced our taps at Annex, and we’re proud to announce that they’ll be doing a special limited-can release exclusive to Eat Greene!
Pequena
In celebration of the neighborhood we’ve come to call home over the past 12 years, we’ll be hosting an array of local favorites! Join our community celebration with food from neighboring restaurants Pequeña and No. 7, massages by Melt, temporary tattoos by Electric Lotus, a glass bead making demonstration with Urban Glass.
Ian Carries A Pig
The Greene Grape team has prepared a number of activities and foods to satiate your palate. Our whole-animal-butcher is teaming up with the Greene Grape kitchen to bring a whole pig roast to the street with all the fixin’s and sides! The Cheesemongers have prepared a day of demonstrations from Mozzarella making to a Parm wheel breakdown competition!
Masala Mama Curry Bowl
Masala Mama will be cooking up beautiful rice bowls topped with her signature Indian Simmer Sauces (pictured left).  Other local participants will include,Crown Finish CavesBrooklyn DelhiBrooklyn CuredTrue Made Foods,Noona’s Ice Cream, and many more!


Retailers and crafters Off Duty NYCSoap by Charlie, and local vintage wares byAlkemie will be poised to offer more to feed your desire for locally made wares.

Masala Mama Curry Bowl
Ms. K’s Swagga Jumpers will warm up the crowd followed by performances byVictory Music and Dance , DJ GOF and The Still Standing Band. The event will feature live performances with local bands including Greene Grape’s own Ian Hoagland-Henefield and José Santos! Headlining the event are Tongues Unknown and DJ Killa Theory!
Afterall, celebrations call for excellent food and drinks, and we think the people who create and enjoy excellent food and drinks are cause for celebration as well!
