Tour De Force featuring Brother Culture (Dub-Stuy)
Tour de Force (TDF) is a collective hailing from Brooklyn, New York. Founded by beat maker/producer Double Tiger and DJ Q-Mastah, TDF is rooted in the tradition of Jamaican Sound Systems while keeping an eye to the future. Inspired by their iconic 15,000 watt custom-built “Tower of Sound,” TDF’s productions combine elements of Dub, Hip Hop and Bass music, often featuring collaborations with established vocalists and MCs such as Brother Culture, Ranking Joe, Luciano and Jahdan Blakkamoore. In 2012, the duo created Dub-Stuy Records as an outlet for their music and event promotions. Through their record label and other multifaceted projects, Tour de Force works relentlessly to champion the culture and craft of sound systems, in New York and beyond. TDF’s live performance features live dubbing and vocal performances with a unique selection of dubplates and exclusives, spanning from UK Steppers and Dubstep to traditional Dub and Reggae. Expect big basslines that will surely rattle your walls!

Queen Majesty (Deadly Dragon Sound)
Queen Majesty has been collecting reggae vinyl for the past 16 years and selecting it at various venues all around the world for over a decade. As one of the 4 members of NYC’s Deadly Dragon Sound, she can also be found bringing crates of 45s to their weekly downtown parties that showcase Jamaican music and artists as well as sound system culture. In addition to this, she had hosted the radio show “Deadly Dragon Sounds” on EastVillageRadio.com for over 6 years. This show was a forum to support Jamaican artists both legendary and breaking. Some in-studio guests included Jimmy Cliff, Sugar Minott, Johnny Osbourne, Brigadier Jerry, Dawn Penn, Ranking Joe, Spragga Benz, Bushman, Gappy Ranks and Screechie Dan. She now is now the host of “Jamaica Rock” every Thursday from 2-4pmET also on East Village Radio. Queen Majesty never ceases to find songs she has never heard before in this vast genre, and she is endlessly happy to play these rare gems alongside classic tunes for fellow-music lovers.
